You'll fall in love with our gorgeous, totally restored, traditional Newfoundland Saltbox  It's just a short walk to the local theatre and restaurants, but the house itself is in a quiet and peaceful setting with an amazing ocean view. It’s perfect for getting some writing done or just taking a break from the hustle and bustle of life.

The space

We recently restored this gem into a beach-themed getaway while preserving the original architecture of the home. There are two comfortable bedrooms and a fully-equipped kitchen that features a sweet breakfast bar where you can sip coffee while you read the newspaper in the morning. With fantastic walking trails nearby, you can get outside to enjoy the sweet smell of ocean salt in the air and later unwind in front of the fireplace in the charming living room.

• Kitchen: Fully-equipped with all the cookware necessary to make a gourmet meal, and most importantly, a coffee maker.

• Living room: Flat screen TV with cable and a functional fireplace, as well as a pull-out sleeper sofa to accommodate extra guests.

• Other: highchair and playpen available upon request, high-speed internet; washer and dryer.

2-night minimum stay. Reduced rates available during the off season - from October to May.
Please note that this home is a traditional saltbox style home and one of the features of that style home is the low ceiling height, please be aware before booking that the ceilings are lower than normal and may not be suitable for very tall guests. Most guests do not find it to be an issue but we like to make guests informed!
